Ronald P. Mitchell is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alumni Sports Enterprises, LLC. Alumni Sports is principally engaged in the development and operation of the Alumni Athlete Network ("the Network"). The Network is a collection of online and offline services directed at organizations targeting former collegiate athletes ("alumni athletes"). These organizations, which include collegiate athletic departments, national athletic governing bodies, corporations and media outlets, rely upon the alumni athlete population as both consumers and donors. Alumni Sports provides marketing and fundraising solutions to these organizations through proprietary technology, events, and other programs that appeal to alumni athletes and fans of college athletics. The company also owns and manages national alumni tournaments in soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, basketball and squash.

Prior to founding ASE, Ron was a Principal of Provender Capital Group, LLC and a General Partner of Provender Opportunities Fund L.P. Provender Capital Group is a $150 million merchant banking group which makes principal investments primarily in the areas of media, financial services and specialty retail. Ron joined Provender Capital Group in July 1997. While at Provender he closed several transactions in specialty retail and media and served on the boards of Vanguarde Media, PacPizza and Le Gourmet Chef.

Ron was formerly in the Corporate Finance Department of the investment banking firm of Morgan Stanley & Company. At Morgan Stanley, he worked on various valuation and financing assignments in connection with the execution of equity, debt and derivative offerings in the transportation industry. Following his career at Morgan Stanley, Ron advised a diverse set of middle market companies on issues including technology integration, marketing strategies and valuation, while with Mitchell & Titus, LLC, the nation's largest minority-owned accounting and consulting firm. Ron's professional experience also includes McKinsey & Co. in New York City and The Anschutz Corporation in Denver.

Ron earned his BA degree from Harvard University and his MBA degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business where he served as President of his class and as a member of the Board of Directors of the HBS Alumni Association. Currently, Ron sits on the Board of the Alumni Challenge Education Fund.
