Find the niche. People are segmenting themselves more and more into narrowly defined niche communities based on their own interests. There are communities for knitters, dog lovers, outdoor adventure types and everything in between. Your goal should be to define your niche and find and participate in the niche communities.  This is where you will get the most "bang for your buck."
