Sheila's passion has been the creation, launch and operation of new businesses in the digital media industry over the last 20 years. She is the Founder & CEO of Mirror Digital, an interactive media and advertising company that connects Fortune 500 brands to the multicultural market in the United States. Sheila has executed 150+ campaigns in this growing market.

Delivering a national footprint of innovative digital advertising media to reach Black, Asian and Hispanic consumers, Mirror Digital's clients include Sony Pictures, The Ford Motor Company, Macy's and The UniWorld Group among others. The start-up company is backed by the Harvard Business School Angel Investors.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Sheila was in the Strategic Planning and Development group at Time Warner. While there she worked with several startup teams for brands including ESSENCE Communications, the largest global media brand serving black women. There she helped secure a multi-million dollar investment to launch the first fashion content platform catering to Asian, Black and Hispanic women, called SUEDE. Separately, Sheila was on the launch team for a pioneering, multi-platform initiative between Time Inc. and AOL targeting women's interest in relationships.

Sheila built her foundation in business on Wall Street as an investment banker and as a strategy consultant. As an investment banker, she worked in the media and technology group at Morgan Stanley & Company executing corporate finance and merger & acquisition transactions. Her projects included a $45 million private placement for an emerging technology client, $1.5 billion in debt and equity transactions for a broadband media client and the Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the "For Dummies" book series. As a management consultant with Mercer Management Consulting (formerly Corporate Decisions, Inc.), she worked on growth strategy projects for Fortune 100 brands and pioneers in the venture capital industry.

Sheila has been featured in the Financial Times and was published in the American Advertising Federation's "Digital Resource Guide" in 2013. She has been recognized by The Network Journal as a "Forty under 40" outstanding business professional and was profiled in the cover story on women entrepreneurs for Minority Business Enterprise Magazine in June 2014.

Sheila is a graduate of the Boardroom Bound Institute and serves on the Board of Advisors for Africa.com LLC and is a Board Trustee for Cate School in Carpinteria, CA. She is a founding member of the Council of Urban Professionals; a member of CALIBR (the leadership pipeline group of the Executive Leadership Council); and a member of the Los Angeles Venture Association. Sheila also serves on the National Advisory Council for A Better Chance, Inc. a 50 year old educational access organization for which Oprah Winfrey serves as national spokesperson.

Sheila received a B.A. from Princeton University, cum laude and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business where she was named a Bert King Scholar. Sheila has lived abroad in Costa Rica, is proficient in Spanish and has traveled to over 30 countries. She resides in Los Angeles, California and is an avid runner and yoga enthusiast.
