Mr. Manley, a resident of Maryland, is currently Deputy Chief, Assistant United States Attorney. He supervises eleven federal prosecutors and prosecutes numerous violent crime, fraud, money laundering, racketeering, firearm, and narcotics offenses. In 2007, he was awarded the Barney Skolnik Award for Prosecutorial Excellence and has received multiple federal agency honors and recognitions.
After law school, Mr. Manley clerked for the Honorable Henry H. Kennedy, Jr. He then practiced at a private law firm before joining the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Outside of work, Mr. Manley makes time to give back to his community as well. He is a mentor at the National Academy Foundation School and Mentors, Inc. He has volunteered as a judge for the University of Maryland Moot Court Competition. He is also a Board Member for the BASICS Educational Group.
