Description: Join The Black Ivy Alumni League and The Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra as we explore the significant impact of the sword fighting, baton wielding Afro-French composer Joseph Boulogne, Le Chevalier de Saint-Georges, on the history, politics, and music of the late 18th century. The Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra is lead by Maestra Jeri Lynne Johnson, one of today's leading African-American female conductors.

Works by Saint-Georges will be performed alongside Haydn's Symphony No. 85, "La Reine" and Mozart's legendary Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola.

Price per person: $35.
