Description: Join us for refeshments and a "special event" seminar given by NYU instructor Paul Gellert.

Mr. Gellert, a Managing Director of Real Estate at Barrett Capital Advisors, will talk about simple methods you can use to quickly determine the potential in any given deal. You will learn how to find opportunities and calculate/recognize profit potential.

So come through to meet experienced investors and join others just getting into the game. There is a small fee of $20 to cover the cost of the meeting room but the value of an intimate opportunity to hear Mr. Gellert's knowledge in the real estate world is worth many times more. Plus all overage will be used to support future events and efforts of The Black Ivy Alumni League! RSVP early for you and a friend! Space is limited.

Featured Speaker: Mr. Gellert, a Managing Director of Real Estate at Barrett Capital Advisors, is also a licensed real estate and mortgage broker. He has taught real estate investing at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He has published many articles on various aspects of real estate investment and related topics. Mr. Gellert received his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate and is a long time condo resident of New York City.

Host: W. Arthur Bennett has been a small investor in multifamily residential real estate for 5 years. He has focused on purchasing, renovating, and managing smaller residential properties in the New York Metro Area. Prior to real estate investing Mr. Bennett was involved with the founding of a broker-dealer that focused on electronic day-trading. He successfully developed the firm’s business into several hundred clients. Prior to that Mr. Bennett traded foreign exchange derivatives for Bank of America where he managed the Canadian Dollar Options book on a proprietary basis. Mr. Bennett graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in Finance. Mr. Bennett also received a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
